Full Description

This tray is made up of a base surrounded by four railings joined with a mitre, and has rounded outside corners. The railings are carved with pierced friezes of stylized, confronting long-nosed dragons with deep concave mouldings above and below. The material used to make this tray is very dense and dark, with little grain and highlights of deep red coming through the timber.
