Full Description
The elegance of this table stand is based on the simplicity and beauty of the oval openings. Whilst the form of many table stands is based on full-scale furniture, this design is quite rare, and seems to be unique to table stands. Moreover, whilst examples in other woods do exist, most extant examples of this style are in zitan. This one is finely crafted with well-drawn shapes and crisp beadings. The dark, uniform timber is of very good quality.
